The Software and Controls capability at PA is a highly technical team of developers, architects and engineers assisting PA’s client base with innovation and product development across a wide variety of industry sectors. Sitting at the border of hardware and software the team uses their enviable track record of success to help clients to overcome technical hurdles and bring products to market faster through their own strength of experience in combination with PA’s other product development capabilities. Based at our technology centre in Melbourn, the 30+ strong team boasts specialists across technology stacks and industry sectors and we are looking to augment this through the hiring of a Managing Consultant with a strong background in automation.
The role of Managing Consultant (MC):
Within PA the MC role represents a top tier appointment in the organisation, with MC’s typically serving as our business development, thought and team leaders. With one foot in the operation, one foot in the strategic and a head of business and proposition development, this role is highly varied and calls for someone who is autonomous and a self-starter.
PA have a strong client portfolio within the life sciences and medical technology sectors. As trusted partners, we support our client base to overcome technical hurdles and innovate around exciting developments in consumer healthcare, real time diagnostics and life science automation. We are looking for someone that understands the complexities of creating control systems within this space and would like to combine their knowledge with our inhouse mechanical and electronics teams to develop cutting edge solutions.
