What we are looking for 

We are looking for an experienced sales person to join, and be instrumental within, our Google Alliance team. This is a critical role, one that will stretch you personally and professionally, and require you to utilise your creative, cognitive and emotional intelligence. 

In the Google Cloud Cloud Sales role, you will represent our organisation into Google Cloud, helping to drive sales, revenue and our Google Alliance.  

You will part of the team responsible for developing and delivering against the strategy for our Google Alliance as well as developing our Cloud business. 

Expect a sleeves-up, fully associated and immersive role. All our people are client facing and empowered to fulfil the best outcome for their clients. 

You will have proven experience of building and maintaining successful business relationships.  

You can evidence how you have worked with large, multi-dimensional organisations, and how you’ve sold solutions which bring together the best of vendor / partner technologies and services capabilities with those of your own organisation to maximise success and deliver impact for the client. 

You have clear ideas on how things might be done and want to join a company where doing things the right way is a principle we strive to achieve daily. You inspire others to get involved and foster a strong collaborative ethic. 

You’re obsessed with ensuring PA’s reputation and credibility is always regarded at a very high level, and unafraid to initiate corrective actions should this not be at our desired level. 

You’re a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial streak – able to prioritise your time effectively, and build relationships across PA, clients, and Google.  

 

Essential (or however we phrase it) 

  1. You are commercially savvy - understanding all aspects of professional services, Cloud sales, and driving the sales lifecycle. 

  1. Strong exposure to Channel Sales, Partnerships, Alliance Sales or similar, with demonstrated success of meeting or exceeding performance targets. 

  1. Ability to build and execute sales and marketing strategies to engage clients and partners to identify, develop and win opportunities. 

  1. Confidence in working within a matrix organisation of senior stakeholders and executive teams to achieve a common goal. 

  1. Exposure to driving adoption of disruptive technologies, cloud and digitally enabled purpose-led propositions. 

  1. Effective communication within account teams, internal and external stakeholders 

  1. Experience in structuring and producing compelling sales and commercial proposals which clearly demonstrate the business benefits to clients. 

  1. Excellent written, oral and customer presentation, influence, and negotiation skills. 

  1. Creative approach to partnerships, marketing, business development and sales. 

  1. Building relationships at all levels in a diverse environment through being visible, involved and having the persuasive ability to keep PA front of mind and invited to both partner meetings/events as well as client opportunities. 

  1. Spotting opportunities develop sales via your relationships and ‘match-making’ between PA’s accounts and a partner organisation.  

  1. Ability to develop positioning and propositions within an alliance partner, and to the marketplace at large.  Ability to operate at pace, with an eye on the future to be ahead of the game. 

  1. Ability to broaden and deepen relationships with an alliance partner, and to use a strong network to ‘match-make’ between your organisation and a partner sales teams and the appropriate PA people. 

  1. Experience of driving internal and external eminence, growing awareness of the combined  capabilities with an alliance partner, and building your own personal brand.

Location
