  • You are passionate about data, you understand how to exploit data and deliver business insight. You also understand the complexities associated with managing data
  • You have an inquisitive mind that wants to solve the trickiest challenges whilst working with incredible colleagues.
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to clearly articulate and communicate technical concepts and solutions to business stakeholders.
  • You have a good business acumen with the ability to describe how data & engineering skills can add business value.
  • You are a team player who takes personal responsibility for their work and actively communicates and collaborates with colleagues to ensure that the teams work is completed.
  • You are a self starter that employs a structured approach to your work; you are able to effectively estimate effort and delivery schedules.
  • You may have deep expertise in one of the following industries – Financial Services, Energy and Utilities, Manufacturing & Consumer, Transport or Public Sector
  • Existing experience in consulting would be beneficial although we equally like in-house experience.

You will have experience in one of the following areas:

>> Data Science / Data Analysis

  • You have demonstrable experience of using data to solve business problems.
  • You understand data - how to analyse it, join it, clean it, query it and use it to deliver insight.
  • You have a strong understanding and experience of designing and engineering machine learning algorithms and/or data science solutions.
  • You have experience of R and Python with knowledge of one or more of the following - NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn and Tensorflow/Keras. NLP packages (e.g. NLTK, spaCy), visualisation packages (e.g. Plotly, Dash, Power BI).

>> Data Management / Data Governance

  • You have a strong understanding and experience of data lifecycle phases and can communicate clearly the challenges or opportunities within each phase.
  • You have managed data requirements, designed business glossaries, conceptual and logical data models.
  • You have experience in working with data governance / data catalogue tools (e.g. Collibra, IBM IGC, Informatica EDC etc.).
  • You have experience working in one of the principal Cloud environments of Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • You  have experience of developing data strategies, designing / implementing, data warehouses, data integration or master data management solutions.

>> Data Architecture / Data Engineering

  • You have a strong understanding and experience of designing and engineering data solutions within one of the principal Cloud environments of Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • You have experience in designing / modelling and developing different types of data schemas e.g. RDMS, XML, JSON.
  • You have experience in SQL and NoSQL.
  • You have familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala.
  • Experience in designing and engineering data APIs would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with common ETL / ELT patterns and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend as well as legacy data warehouse platforms such as Oracle and Teradata would also be an advantage.
